We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective business development strategy.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Here is what the job responsibility entails:

Scope:

  • Reports to Director
  • Is an Individual Contributor
  • Carries a Revenue Driven Target
  • Works towards annually agreed goals and objectives
  • Strong Experience in handling Private Enterprise is a mandate.

Job Description:

  • Drive overall execution and sales delivery of revenue targets.
  • Should have exposure on Information Architecture (IA), Knowledge on Wireframes.
  • Should have better understanding on scope of work (SOW).
  • Hands-on in preparing IT Proposals.
  • Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain
  • Focus on fetching new business opportunities.
  • Focus on prospecting for new clients in the assigned territory.
  • Manages the private sector enterprise ecosystem.
  • Provide accurate weekly forecast updates to management.
  • Exhibits exemplary Team spirit and capabilities towards identify opportunities
  • Create value for these teams by proactively proposing solutions to increase deal value, differentiation, and increase client’s benefits.
  • Contribute to product success by building opportunity pipeline, qualifying prospects and closing business.
  • Expand sales to current clients by identifying additional business needs and selling the other software solution to meet those needs.
  • Ability to do excellent pitch presentations.
  • Perform sales forecasting, account planning and other related sales administrative tasks to grow assigned business profitability.
  • Define Value Propositions for Online Applications.
  • The individual should have the professional presence to lead the sales process with appropriate client’s executives or to participate as a team member in the joint sales process with business partners.
  • Collaborate with Business Development/Pre-sales/Marketing teams to create sustainable lead generation for the territory.
  • Maintain an understanding of company’s strategic direction and interpret its relevance to clients.
  • Ability to handle Technical Pre Sales. 

Competencies:

 Extensive experience in business development for applications solutions such as ERP, PMS, HRMS and CRM

  • Competent in understanding Applications market in Delhi and NCR and able to understand how to position Products and services portfolio in the market landscape
  • A mix of Hunting & Farming experience is strongly preferred.
  • Competitive product knowledge
  • High level of communication skills, both written and oral / excellent presentation skills
  • Influencing and negotiating skills
  • Experience in selling/business development to senior level business owners (head of business unit) or IT Directors is a strong asset.
  • Work closely with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create the most appropriate solution to meet their needs
  • Consultative selling experienced, able to position solutions at an executive level.
  • Can quickly develop a deep knowledge of client’s business and discuss issues from multiple angles
  • Self-motivator with the ability to work independently (as required)
