Detailed Job Profile

Reporting to and assisting the CEO in overall business management and operations you will be  responsible for :

 Operations Management

  • Business planning and running the business on day-to-day basis to make sure all the decisions lead to stated objectives of the organization
  • Design and agree various decision-making activities with the COO to ensure involvement in the business decision making
  •  Pricing, Costing and margin analysis for quoting to customers, providing commercial support on customer negotiations and contracts
  •  Analyse financials from subsidiaries for interdependent issues, coordination with Sales for sales targets, monitoring cost of sales and commission plans 
  •  Driving necessary process improvements keeping standardization and long term in mind; 
  •  Hands on audit and tax issues interfacing between business and corporate 

Client Management

  • Responsible for client engagement, servicing, satisfaction, acquisition for new project execution and business growth
  • Ensure all the sales opportunities are well coordinated by identifying an effective team to address the above and by providing the oversight
  • Lead proposal development, customer visits, making presentations and ensure end to end execution of sales opportunities
  • Plan and ensure periodic structured reviews with Project Managers and the teams
  • Report out the Business Unit progress on periodic basis to management and senior staff
  • Identify Project Managers for various customers and ensure effective organisation structure for the Business
  • Support Project Managers in identifying and building right team and team structure for various customers
  • Provide leadership in project management and quality process management to the teams
  • Identify training needs and facilitate in organising the same.
  • Encourage and guide Project Managers & teams in their day to day activities and keep the team morale high.

Business Acumen

  •  Budgeting and revenue generation annual and quarterly annual budgets, forecast for revenues and P&L projections every quarter 
  •  Plan for overall business performance packs for COO and to organize / participate in business reviews
  • Advise COO on the design and improvements in the monthly review mechanisms, monthly packs, monthly presentations by other functional areas, the monthly pack should be designed
  • comprehensively to include P&L, its analysis, the metrics and drivers that were captured in the budget preparation
  • Drive revenue and operating margin targets for the business, business units Technical  Management- 
  • Experience in providing Engineering services in Automotive, Aerospace, Heavy Engineering domain,

          Hands on CAD, CAE tools, Solid works, Inventor, CatiaV5, UG NX, Revit, Auto CAD Onsite and offsite client management

          Working experience in Engineering design services involving product design, re-engineering, benchmarking and tool design will be advantageous.
