Our client is an NGO,not-for-profit organization established in 1984, which works in the areas of safe blood banking, transfusion services and HLA typing and testing for organ and bone marrow transplants. The Indian NGO closely collaborates with the German NGO group in serving blood cancer patients. The German NGO is the world's largest network of not for profit bone marrow donor centers based in Germany, USA, Poland and UK, with more than 7.8 million registered stem cell donors. Recognizing the greater need of a pool of potential stem cell donors, our client , the Indian NGO initiated the Stem Cell Registry India (SCRI), supported by the German NGO , with the joint aim of registering potential stem cell donors in India.
